Ring in the New Year at these exhilarating events
All hail the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown, the mother of all New Year’s Eve celebrations! With a prime location by the waterfront and a stunning view of Singapore’s skyline, it’s not hard to see why this iconic event is a top choice for revellers to usher in the New Year. This year, you can look forward to sampling fancy bites at an Artisanal marketplace, gaze at dazzling projection displays on the façade of The Fullerton Hotel, and pen your wishes for 2018.

End the year with a bang at Our Tampines Hub’s retro-themed countdown bash! Watch a free screening of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, have a blast jumping on bouncy castles, indulge in henna and face painting, enjoy free access to various facilities and more. There’ll also be special celebrity appearances, a chance to win Our Tampines Hub vouchers worth up to $5,000, and surprise birthday treats for those born on 31 December.

Don’t want to jostle with the crowds but still want to soak in the festive atmosphere? Head to the Car-Free Countdown at the Civic District for a buzzy, yet relaxed time. Chill out with film screenings, flea markets and a fitness dance party organised by the Health Promotion Board. Art lovers, the National Gallery will be extending opening hours till 2am, while the Asian Civilisations Museum will stay open till midnight.

Party at the Siloso Beach Party

Get up close to prehistoric artefacts
Featuring priceless artefacts from the Natural History Museum in London, the ‘Treasures of the Natural World’ exhibition at ArtScience Museum is not to be missed! Little explorers can embark on a treasure hunt to learn about the natural world.
