It might be the last weekend of the June school holidays but there’s still fun to be had! Bring your kids out for a run with their favourite DreamWorks characters, a cinema projection reel workshop, and a tour of Coney Island Park before they head back to school.
Be part of the first DreamWorks Run in Asia
The first DreamWorks Run makes its debut this Saturday! Meet your favourite characters from Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, How To Train Your Dragon and Madagascar and don’t miss this chance to take photos with them while spending time with family and friends.

Create a cinema projection reel with your child
Learn how to make a cinema projection reel as part of Playeum: Children’s Centre for Creativity’s Tinkering Sundays programme! In this parent-child workshop, turn everyday objects like a magnifying glass, torchlight and cardboard into a movie reel and project it. Kickstart your own movie theatre and create more movie scenes at home! Great for children aged six to 12.

Get wet and wild at Mount Faber
Just two weeks after their sea-front pirate bash, SAFRA Mount Faber is throwing a Be Entertained festival with a tropical flavour. Highlights include musical performances by the cast of Tropicana The Musical, party animal balloon treasure hunt, water obstacles and giant floats.

Discover the history of Coney Island Park
Did you know that Coney Island Park is home to 80 species of birds, or that timber from uprooted Casuarina trees were made into park signage, benches, seats, exhibits and the boardwalk? Learn about the history of this 50 hectare park in Punggol with a free guided tour. Space are limited to 30 participants, so be quick!

Catch the last weekend of Children’s Season
If you haven’t caught Children’s Season yet, this is your last chance to check out the activities during the festival’s closing weekend. Highlights include a stilt house building workshop, a fun passport tour of the Singapore Discovery Centre, a shadow puppet performance and a yarnbomb takeover of the Malay Heritage Centre.
