Catch a last glimpse of winter before it disappears
Don’t miss your last chance to catch a Nordic winter at the Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay! Step into the cosy confines of a lavvu, a tent-like dwelling used by the indigenous Sami people from Sápmi, and admire beautiful poinsettias, Christmas trees and other plants. Tip: go at night when a projection of the Northern Lights transforms the floral display into a magical glowing forest.

Kicking off the Esplanade’s All Things New series for the year are local bands Cosmic Child and Subsonic Eye, who have been making waves with their hazy, nostalgic tunes. Come chill out to their shoegaze and dream pop songs against the pretty backdrop of the Esplanade waterfront this Saturday evening.
Take part in the first-ever Transformers Run
Start the new year on a sporty note with the inaugural Transformers Run! Join the 5km walk and have an exciting time at the family-themed carnival after. Filled with fun games like a NERF Arena, inflatable play zones and Transformers’ showcases, it’s the perfect day out with your child.

Have a leisurely stroll through a nature park
There’s no such thing as too much nature, and if Singapore’s urban landscape is making your family crave the outdoors, this social walk around Dairy Farm Nature Park is just what you need. Spend a relaxing Sunday afternoon surrounded by butterflies, dragonflies, birds and plants, and visit the former Singapore Quarry which is now a wetland habitat. Discover over 400 types of medicinal plants
Get a double dose of nature at the Botanic Gardens Healing Garden tour by NParks! Held on the first Saturday of the month, it showcases over 400 varieties of medicinal plants traditionally used in Southeast Asia. This free event is open to all, and participants are to meet at the Visitor Centre at Nassim Gate 15 minutes before the start of the tour.

Create original sketches inspired by artworks
Take inspiration from selected artworks from ‘The Artist’s Voice’, The Parkview Museum’s on-going exhibition in this Saturday Sketching activity! The free one-hour session includes a brief introduction of the artwork, with demonstrations by museum assistants. Drawing materials are provided and kids of all ages are welcome.
