Raising Gender-confident Kids

By Melvin Wong

Today's children are growing up in an increasingly gender-confused world. Is sexuality or gender orientation inborn or learned, and how do our actions affect their perceptions of what it means to be masculine or feminine? Author and psychologist Melvin Wong reveals that gender identity has a lot to do with early childhood parenting. In this practical and thought-provoking guide to the critical periods when gender imprinting takes place, parents will learn how to overcome the odds, bond with sons and daughters and help them grow into secure, confident members of their birth genders. Gender security is something only you can give your child.
